In each region, a 'Departure Ceremony' will be held for students who have passed the JPUE and will be studying at Japanese universities. This ceremony is an opportunity to bid farewell to classmates and faculty while also marking the beginning of a new journey. During the ceremony, information and important details regarding traveling to Japan and living there will also be provided.

Once the 'Student Visa' is issued, you will begin preparing for your departure. This includes finalizing your travel schedule and arranging your flight. Additionally, consider finding accommodation based on the university's location and surrounding environment. While some universities may provide dormitories, you may need to rent an apartment or a condominium on your own. If you choose to rent independently, it is advisable to visit and inspect the accommodation before signing a lease. Many cases require a guarantor for renting, and you might consider using a guarantor service if needed.

Upon arrival in Japan, you will need to arrange for airport pickup, complete resident registration, open a bank account, and sign up for a mobile phone plan. Universities often provide guidance for these tasks, but in the case of large comprehensive universities, you might need to handle these matters independently. If you encounter any issues or need assistance, you can consult the administrative office in your area for appropriate advice.
