    What is "Japan University Examination” like?

    "Japan University Examination”is an examination held for students everywhere would like to study in Japan. Applicants may be admitted to a Japanese university directly through this examination.

    What qualifications are required to apply for JPUE?

    Individuals who hold nationality other than Japanese and are expected to obtain a residence status under Japan’s Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act that does not impede university admission.When applying to universities using the JPUE, candidates should generally have completed or be expected to complete 12 years of education by March 31, 2026, and possess university entrance qualifications or equivalent. Additionally, they should reach the age of 18 by March 31, 2026.

    What is the difference between "Japan University Examination” and "Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU)”?

    According to the mode of study in Japan in the past, applicants shall take "independent examination of the university” implemented by Japanese university after taking "EJU”. In this way, applicants have to learn Japanese well in advance and accept instructions after class on the basis of education guideline of Japanese senior high school. For overseas students, it is very difficult to enter a Japanese university directly. However, "Japan University Examination” requires no Japanese basis, you may take the examination in your native language. Besides, the test scope is on the basis of the education outline of local senior high schools, students may get high marks after mastering knowledge points they learn at present.
